62" x 62" An original quilt that I designed using the program Canvas on my Macintosh computer.
It uses several fabrics that I painted, dyed, and airbrushed and uses some commercial prints. The quilt back is hand-painted. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. The image appears on the cover of a college textbook. This quilt won many awards, including: First Place at the Flight of Imagination Quilt Show produced by The Artworks at Doneckers, Ephrata, Pa.- 1993 |
